First digital proof of delivery from Tourbosoft at Jacob Cement

Tourbosoft's digital proof of delivery has successfully found its way into Jacob Cement's internal processes. The digital document with all delivery information is created automatically without any additional effort. Dispatching, sales and drivers benefit from digital delivery notes with detailed unloading information

The Tourbosoft app with integrated navigation and telematics system is being used successfully at Jacob Cement. The app enables the drivers to digitally record the unloading, from which a detailed proof of delivery is automatically generated in PDF format.

The digital delivery note is immediately available to the dispatch department and the sellers, enabling quick verification and immediate invoicing.

The proof of delivery is individually adapted to Jacob Cement's corporate design and digitally represents the previous paper delivery bill one-to-one. It contains all relevant unloading information, such as photos, signatures, quantity corrections, deposits, cash payments, scans and comments.

The use of digital delivery notes promotes fast data exchange between all parties involved and simplifies internal processes at the same time. Tiresome and time-consuming processes such as deciphering handwritten notes on the delivery note, subsequent scanning of the delivery note or searching through folders are no longer necessary. Instead, all unloading data can be efficiently managed digitally and quickly viewed at any time.

The removal of paper delivery receipts also contributes to environmental sustainability.

 

 

Jacob Cement plans to introduce digital proof of delivery for customers

In the future, Jacob Cement plans to make digital proof of delivery available to its customers as well. This means a final farewell to paper delivery bills and a complete digitalization of this process.

Jacob Cement customers benefit from numerous advantages. They have access to their digital proof of delivery at any time and from anywhere and can archive it digitally. Instead of unreadable paper delivery receipts, customers receive a modern PDF with all relevant unloading information.

In the case of a drop-off authorisation, photo evidence of the drop-off location and a satellite view with the coordinates of the drop-off location can be attached to the digital proof of delivery. Customers receive immediate notification of the delivery by e-mail and can see exactly where the goods were left thanks to the attached photos.

Overall, this leads to an increase in customer satisfaction and customer service.
